Posted on August 23, 2010 · Leave a CommentWho’s ready for this game????
The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles this Friday at 7:00 p.m.! Although it’s still preseason games, these games are as exciting as the regular season ones! I’m expecting great things out of our team this year… hopefully they won’t disappoint me (and the rest of the fans!)!
This will also mark the 27th annual Chiefs Charity Game. Catch the fun at the New Arrowhead field.
And guess what???
This Wednesday, fans can come out and see the club’s open practice at 7:15 p.m. Gates will open at 6:15 p.m. This is a FREE event and will be followed by a fireworks show!
Sounds like fun, right?
Well bring your Highlands’ friends out and have a good time!!
Goooooooooooooo CHIEFS!!!

Favorite Ice Cream Flav
Posted on August 20, 2010 · Leave a CommentI’ve been buying ice-cream all summer long! And I don’t just mean the ice cream in a cup– I’m talking about blizzards, McFlurries, Milkshakes, sundaes, and more!
When it’s really hot outside, ice cream seems to be the solution for everything! Before taking my ice cream escapade this year, I was used to getting what I called my signature flavor– cookie dough. But then, I took a walk on the wild side and decided to try it all!
With that said, what’s your favorite ice-cream flavor?
